Geoff White Bio.

As one of America\'s premier electronic music producers, Geoff White has amassed a catalogue of distinguished releases on labels such as Force Inc./Mille Plateaux, Traum, Ghostly International, Spectral, Proptronix, Morris Audio, Cytrax, Apnea, his own label, Edit, and many others. On Ghostly International he released his debut album under his Aeroc moniker (which was constructed entirely from his own guitar sounds) and Ghostly\'s sister label, Spectral Sound, where he creates jacking dance tracks with live instruments. The second Aeroc album is due to be released in the coming months as well as two new Spectral EP\'s in 2008.
Growing up in Cleveland, Geoff spent long hours studying guitar and began recording at age 16. He invested every possible moment since then in the studio learning the trade that would consume his life. After studying design at the prestigious Columbus College of Art and Design, White relocated to Barcelona to continue his work in music. His first full-length album, Questions and Comments, was released on Force Inc. in 2001. The formation of the Edit Audio label followed shortly thereafter, with an emphasis on modern production techniques and hip-shaking goodness. In 2003, one semester away from graduation, Geoff put the brakes on his academic career. That year he paired with icon Stewart Walker to produce the album Discord (on Force Inc.), released M. Jackson cover songs under the alias Jackstone, and made an EP on Morris Audio with Swiss duo Dialogue. White has also provided remixes for a variety of labels such as Tigerbeat6, Leaf, Source, Laboratory Instincts, Daily City, and many more.
Geoff is currently the head engineer at Ivjohaje Studios in Santa Fe, New Mexico which is a top of the line facility for tracking, mixing, and mastering. www.ivjohaje.com .
